Christians: There are incredibly vast differences between Judaism and Christianity. Why?

Jesus was a Rabbi. He had to have studied the Torah and Talmud. Judaism teaches there is no Hell (at least no hellfire and brimstone), that the messiah would be a normal man, that there is no trinity only one God. There are innumerable differences. Yet Christianity hails from Judaism. Why don't Christians believe the same things?
