Is IPL a negative influence on ODI?

World Champion India today got thrashed by windies when they lost by 103 runs. The reason ofcourse will be, "it was weak indian team and key players were missing". However, the other part of the story is that the key players were missing because of "IPL is bigger priority". For example Tendulkar said he can't tour Windies because, "I want to spend time with family". So he did not want to spend time with family during IPL? Only during ODI and test matches they all want rest? So playing for IPL is more important than playing for country?
