is the correct answer they're looking for, but in reality we did have a pseudo-democracy with named presidential successions and no free elections (they were rigged). With the situation in Mexico as it is, I dare say we still have a rigged democracy, as the ruling parties come from the same families in the country (the so called revolutionary families). ---
