How does Jesus Christ cream and thrash the Devil's deceptions?

First, He RECOGNIZED what the devil was doing. So many people have a thought and fall into it because they are not aware of the spiritual forces at work. We fight in the spirit more than in flesh and blood. Secondly, He said get thee behind me satan! :)
