What do you think of my college essay?

Given that the question is rather shallow, I think you did an excellent job. You've shown that you can write clearly and intelligently, which surely has to be the main reason for the question, and you've made yourself a three-dimensional person in their eyes. That's always a good thing. (You also make me desperate to get to the beach! A cruel thing in December, though.)
