Do girls care about what type of music a guy listens too?

Im mean,would a girl turn a guy down if he listens to black metal,thrash metal,and death metal. Because I like that type of music,some of the bands I like are immortal,theatres des vampires,mortal sin,carcass,megadeth and living death. And this girl I like,likes pop and hip hop:( and I hate that type of music. So would this affect my chances with girls,and my chance to date the girl I currently like,and girls would you date a guy that likes that music,even if you dont.your help would be appreciated thank you.
