Ravenous and agitated baby - please help!?

I was wondering if anyone could help me, I had my little boy a week ago and have been having problems for the last 3 days or so. I was told he should be feeding 30 - 60ml in one sitting, but he's taking up to 120ml. I keep stopping when I feed him to see if he's full and then wind him before offering him more. He can't get enough milk, he just seems so hungry and gets so agitated, he keeps violently thrashing around and hitting his face. I don't know if I should be feeding him more or if something else could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
